The Education Department is responsible for, among other things, preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. The responsibility also includes student health services, mother tongue instruction, school transportation, and school meals. The Workplace The Rector's Area of Trelleborg Central Town consists of Liljeskolan F-9, Granlunda, and Solrosens preschool. The area is led by a rector together with four assistant rectors and an administrative manager. Liljeskolan is an F-9 school with an upper secondary section of approximately 500 students. We create tools for future competencies. IT will increasingly be a pedagogical learning tool, and we are committed to raising educators' competence in line with future demands and opportunities. The school is centrally located with good commuting options. Job Responsibilities As a teacher, you will teach our students in Social Studies for grades 7–9. Together with your colleagues in the work team, you will create a good learning environment for each student. You work as part of a team based on the clarified responsibility assignment expressed in the primary school curriculum. This means that together with the rector and other colleagues, you lead and develop the school's daily operations for increased goal achievement. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Social Studies for grades 7–9. We would appreciate experience working with upper secondary students. You are passionate about your teaching role and bring good ideas about how we can develop instruction, stay informed of current research, and are ready to drive this forward with your team! You are action-oriented, open to change, have an easy time bringing others along, and inspire innovative thinking. You are development-oriented and have good communication skills as well as the ability to see the bigger picture. You thrive in an environment that places high demands on responsibility, flexibility, initiative, and social competence. You are a creative employee who can offer students good learning environments. You build good relationships and have a respectful approach. Other Information This position is a fixed-term employment at 100%.
