We are now seeking an engaged and qualified craft teacher with credentials to teach both textile crafts and woodworking and metalworking. The position is divided between Flyingeskolan (60%) and Harlösa School (40%), giving you the opportunity to work at two smaller schools with close collaboration between students, colleagues, and management. Your Assignment As a craft teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on applicable curriculum guidelines. You create a safe, inspiring, and structured learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in the craft subject. Your assignment includes: Planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in crafts. Guiding and inspiring students in both practical and theoretical work. Making visible and assessing students' knowledge development and grading. Responsibility for the craft workshop's materials, tools, and machines. Ensuring that work takes place in a safe and secure manner. Ordering materials and contributing to a well-functioning learning environment. Documenting student development according to applicable guidelines. Actively participating in work teams, meetings, and the school's development work. Contributing to the development of craft subject pedagogy and instruction. Your Experience We are seeking someone with strong pedagogical ability and a genuine interest in developing students' creativity and learning. We would like to see that you: Are a certified teacher with credentials to teach crafts. Have good knowledge of curriculum plans and assessment. Have experience documenting and following up on student development. Have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Have a B driving license and access to a car, as the position involves teaching at two schools. Is This You?
