The role as a gymnasium teacher with us
The role as a teacher at the gymnasium in Kungsbacka Municipality is characterized by a culture of shared responsibility where we together take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support each other.
Your duties will include teaching students in Social Studies and History, as well as mentoring students in year 3 of the Social Sciences Program in the course Gymnasium Project. Additionally, you will co-mentor a class in year 1 of the Social Sciences Program together with another teacher.
Your profile
The right person for this job thrives in an environment with constantly changing circumstances, sees opportunities in change, and is genuinely interested in creating, maintaining, and fostering good relationships with both colleagues and students and their guardians. You are knowledgeable in your subjects and have a strong ability to communicate with and lead young people. Together with your colleagues, you plan and organize your work efficiently. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great importance on personal suitability.
We are looking for you if you:
• are a qualified gymnasium teacher and have the credentials to teach Social Studies and History
It is meritorious:
• if you have experience teaching these subjects at the gymnasium level

Our offer and other information
We offer a fixed-term full-time position for the period October 28, 2026 - June 16, 2027.
