The Preschool and Primary School Administration is one of Varberg Municipality's largest departments with close to 2,200 employees. Within our areas of operation—preschool, primary school, and child and student health—we are here for children and students—together we shape the future. Bosgårdsskolan is one of Varberg's largest primary schools, located in Tvååker where community meets nature. Approximately 580 students and 80 employees meet here every day. Right now we are in a renewal phase as Bosgårdsskolan faces a major renovation. Therefore, our operations are currently distributed across facilities in both Tvååker and central Varberg. We continue to drive our pedagogical development with the same high ambition while we await returning to our new facilities. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher with us, you have a central role in creating a safe, developmental, and motivating environment where together we create the best possible learning encounter. By planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching, you give students the conditions to grow based on their unique needs and goals. Main responsibilities: • Teaching in Grade 5 in Science/Technology as well as teaching resource in other subjects in Grade 5. • Plan, lead, and evaluate instruction based on curriculum documents and chosen didactic strategies. • Meet each student in their knowledge progression and strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-esteem through professional leadership. • Develop stimulating learning environments that encourage learning, participation, and student influence. • Work for a holistic perspective on the student's school day through close collaboration with colleagues and guardians. • Actively participate in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to a formative approach in daily pedagogy. QUALIFICATIONS For us it is important that you have a genuine commitment to the teaching profession and see it as a meaningful assignment to make a difference for children and young people. You are a confident pedagogical leader who with warmth and clarity provides guidance and creates the structure required for a safe learning environment. For you, collaboration with colleagues is a prerequisite for success; you work without pretense to together develop operations with others. You are skilled at building relationships and create trusting contacts with both students and guardians. You have a good sense of the group, are flexible, have didactic ability, and adapt your methods based on students' different needs, knowledge progression, and daily condition. We are looking for you who: • Hold teacher certification with authorization to teach Science and Technology in grades 4-6, or alternatively authorization in other subjects in grades 4-6. • Have the ability to base your teaching on proven experience and scientific foundation. • Demonstrate skill in planning and following up operations systematically based on given frameworks. • Have good assessment ability to follow up students' development and provide constructive feedback. • Possess clear planning ability to structure lessons and work areas. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: 2026-08-17 Start date by agreement, ends: 2026-12-18.
