The Department of Labor Market and Education has collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment matters affecting our municipality's residents. The department is also responsible for the Culture School and food services, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. Together, we focus on continuously improving operations. Brönjaskolan is a grades 7–9 school in Sävast, seven kilometers outside Boden center, with approximately 250 students. Brönjaskolan has three work teams organized by grade level and a well-developed and unit-anchored student health service. The student health team consists of a special education teacher, school speech-language pathologist, study and career counselor, school counselor, and school nurse. Brönjaskolan also has a safety team consisting of a safety coordinator and safety resource, who actively work to create relationships, safety, and a conducive study environment for our students. Our focus areas are increased goal attainment through higher student attendance, and strengthened reading and writing skills across all school subjects. We have a good outdoor environment with basketball court, soccer field, and sports hall, as well as forest right on the doorstep. With that said, we want to welcome you to our team! You will be part of grade 7's work team and teaching will be your primary responsibility. You will also have the role of contact teacher for a group of students, and in that role you create the best conditions for students to develop, thrive, and feel safe. The position is primarily at Brönjaskolan, but may also include one day at another school. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily seeking you who are a certified teacher with authorization to teach music in grades 7–9. Additional subject qualifications are meritorious. We want you to be open to varied working methods, collaboration, and school development. Otherwise, you have good pedagogical insights and are well familiar with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. Your pedagogical and social ability makes it easy for you to create contact with people, and you are therefore also skilled at creating good learning environments and conveying your knowledge to our students. You have good experience working with computers as a tool in educational activities. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
