Nordanstig Municipality consists of several school locations with a total of approximately 900 students and a shared upper secondary school in Bergsjö. Bergsjö School is an F-9 school with approximately 450 students. Adapted primary school grades 1-10 also operates in the same facilities.
Together we work toward higher goal achievement and a more equitable school. The Swedish National Agency for Education, Umeå University, SPSM, Mid Sweden University, and RUC-X are some of the partners we collaborate with to achieve this.

About the position
We are seeking a qualified teacher with certification in music. The position can be combined with other subjects.
When you join us, you will be part of a teaching team with several teachers instructing the same classes as you. You will also be part of a subject team where you plan together and exchange ideas and thoughts.
Daily work includes all tasks involved in a teacher's assignment. Individually and together with your colleagues, you plan, deliver, evaluate, and ensure high-quality instruction that creates context and challenges students at the appropriate level. You will, together with the school's staff, contribute to collegial learning.
Personal qualities
As a person, you have strong leadership abilities, understand people's varying capacity to acquire knowledge, and can adapt your instruction accordingly. You involve students in planning and can make visible and further develop students' learning processes. You reflect systematically on your work, both individually and with your colleagues, and are committed to creating a safe learning environment with focus, trust, and respect.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

For any upcoming interview, bring a current criminal record certificate. All our employees receive 2,000 kr/year in wellness allowance. Selection and interviews may take place on a rolling basis.
