Your Responsibilities As a music teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction based on Lgr22 and creating an accessible and challenging learning environment for our students in grades 1–6 in both regular and adapted primary school. You meet students' curiosity and make creativity a natural part of the school day. Create varied instruction: As a music teacher, you design lessons where musical breadth, singing, playing, and creative activities are adapted to each student group's unique needs and conditions. Integrate digital tools: You use digital tools as a natural part of your instruction to develop students' musical creativity and learning. Promote collegial learning: You actively participate in discussions and experience-sharing with colleagues at both planned and spontaneous occasions to develop yourself and the school's activities. Collaborate and build relationships: You maintain close and good dialogue with guardians and colleagues regarding students' development and well-being. Your Workplace Blästadskolan is a multifaceted school consisting of primary school F–6, after-school care, a resource school with a focus on hearing impairment, adapted primary school grades 1–6, and after-school care. The school is located in the southern districts of Linköping and has nature at its doorstep. The school grounds border beautiful oak forests, hiking areas, and open fields that offer an inspiring environment for play and learning. The school has approximately 400 students and about 100 staff members. Blästadskolan's approach is based on a relational perspective that guides all activities. In a relational perspective, actions and environment are important to examine in order to understand how and why people encounter difficulties, as difficulties arise in specific situations. The focus is on shaping the learning environment and instruction to meet all students' different needs. Blästadskolan should be a school that provides security and good knowledge. At the school, co-planning for specialist teachers (physical education, music, and crafts) takes place once per week. About You First and foremost, we are looking for you who have teacher certification with eligibility to teach music in grades 1–6. Second, we are looking for you with completed teacher education in music for grades 1–6. Alternatively, you are near the end of your teacher education in music for grades 1–6. It is a requirement that you have experience working in a curriculum-driven school through internship or employment. It is a merit if you have taught grades 1–6 for at least one school year. It is also a merit if you have experience with grading or have documented student learning during the school year. In your role as a teacher in grades 1–6, we expect that you have: Good knowledge of the school's mission and are familiar with the curriculum (Lgr22) and other governing documents. Good communication skills in speech and writing in the Swedish language. This is so that according to the curriculum (Lgr22 and Lgra22), you organize and carry out work so that students receive support in their language and communication development. Since you are responsible for ensuring that each student can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way. The ability to adapt your instruction to students and let them participate in shaping the instruction. In a quality-conscious manner, you create good conditions for student development and learning and document it. You collaborate well with colleagues, guardians, and other contacts in society that appear in your professional role and are a good role model for students.
