Award-winning Language Centre Mölndal gives you the opportunity to work concretely to achieve a common approach, where all staff in preschool and school take responsibility for newly arrived students. Language Centre works to give all preschool children, primary and secondary school students in Mölndal City the opportunity to develop their multilingual competence. The unit is responsible for modern languages at several primary schools, study guidance and native language instruction in primary and secondary school, leads the development of Swedish as a second language, introduction of newly arrived students, support to the different school types in their work with multilingual students, and leads work on developing multilingualism in preschools within the school administration. TASK DESCRIPTION As a native language teacher in Mölndal City, you provide native language instruction at primary and/or secondary school level. You also provide study guidance at several of Mölndal City's schools. The assignment also includes conducting assessments of newly arrived students' knowledge and providing induction support to children in preschools. All native language teachers are part of a development group and teaching groups to ensure quality and development. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who - is a licensed teacher - or has another academic degree relevant to the position - has very good knowledge of current policy documents, such as the curriculum and course plan in native language - has experience teaching native language - has good digital skills - has very good knowledge of Swedish and Dutch, both spoken and written - good knowledge of additional languages is an asset Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and a driver's license is an advantage.
