WORK TASKS
As a high school teacher, you will work with instruction, have class responsibility, and responsibility for mapping, planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. The work is performed according to established goals and guidelines. Your duties also include mentorship and working together with your colleagues to create a good, engaging, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus.
You challenge and support students so they achieve good study results and adapt your instruction based on all students' needs and conditions. The work is performed in collaboration with other educators, student wellness services, guardians, and other actors outside the school.
High school is divided into program specializations. As a high school teacher, you will work in both grade level teams, subject teams, and individually with a focus on students' development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Formal competencies:
• Teacher degree and teacher certification with authorization to teach in high school and in the subjects Spanish and English
• Good ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• Knowledge of, and experience with, working with digital tools
Merits:
• Experience in mentorship
• Experience in collaboration with student wellness teams
• Experience in developing work methods and approaches to strengthen students' knowledge development
To succeed in the role, you have:
• Ability to lead and motivate students and create a safe learning environment where they feel comfortable, develop, and take responsibility for their learning
• An inclusive approach and actively work to ensure all students feel included and engaged in instruction
• Ability to create open dialogue and adapt your language based on situation and audience

As a final candidate, you must be able to provide a criminal record certificate from the police for work in schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-12 or by agreement.
