JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher at Hammarlunden upper secondary school, you will teach in several classes according to your subject qualifications. You will also, together with a colleague, serve as a mentor in one of our classes. In your mentor role, you are expected to take great responsibility for students' social situation and knowledge development. You are part of one of the school's work teams where collegial learning is in focus and collaboration between teachers in work and subject teams is a basic requirement. As a teacher at Hammarlunden school, you are expected to play an active role in student health work of a promoting and preventive nature with focus on accessible learning environments of a physical, pedagogical, and social nature as well as work with school attendance. Your teaching is characterized by a language and knowledge-developing approach, and you view all students' opportunities for support and stimulation in teaching as self-evident. You have the ability to adapt teaching to the group's needs through guidance and stimulation as well as additional adjustments. You are an active and unpretentious leader who prefers collaborative work where collegial learning is at the center. You apply a student-centered approach and view students' participation in their own learning as self-evident. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are qualified and certified as a mathematics teacher for grades 7-9. You should be flexible, have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude. Be skilled at creating good relationships with students, colleagues and guardians, as well as have a great interest in children and young people's learning. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Selection takes place on an ongoing basis and interviews may therefore take place before the final application deadline. The position is subject to the necessary decisions being made. The position is a fixed-term employment until spring term 2028, on a full-time basis. Start date is by agreement. With reference to the laws regulating criminal record checks, anyone offered this position must provide an extract from the criminal record before an employment contract can be established.
