Description We are now seeking an engaged and certified teacher at Lillebyskolan for teaching in grade 5. Lillebyskolan is a grades F-6 school in Torslanda located in a quiet residential area with nature as our nearest neighbor. The schoolyard is large and features climbing trees, playgrounds, soccer fields, and other environments for students. At our school, we work to ensure that students feel safe and included. Developing teaching and operations is at the center of our school, and our student welfare team works preventatively and health-promotingly. Job Duties Your duties consist of teaching and mentoring in grade 5 with responsibility for students' academic progress together with the teaching team. The assignment includes mentoring duties for a grade 5 class as well as planning, teaching, and assessing students' acquired knowledge in two grade 5 classes. Professional responsibility for classroom leadership is especially important, as well as methods for all students' knowledge development and goal achievement. If you are newly certified, you will be offered an introduction program through Gothenburg's Elementary School Administration's Teacher Academy for newly certified teachers. This introduction provides you with a network of other newly certified teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher. Qualifications We are seeking a certified teacher for grades 4-6 with credentials to teach mathematics, Swedish, and science. Additional subject credentials are merits.
