Teacher of Mathematics and Science – Adult Education Jutus Vux AB Subject Teacher, Basic and Upper Secondary Level (Adult Education) Job Facts: Scope: Part-time Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Permanent employment (including possible probationary period) About the Job Certified teacher in mathematics and science – basic and upper secondary level Jutus Vux is seeking an engaged and certified teacher of mathematics and natural science subjects for teaching within adult education at the basic and upper secondary levels. The position involves a combination of distance teaching and physical presence on-site. About the Position As a teacher of mathematics and science, you will: Teach mathematics at basic and upper secondary levels Teach natural science subjects at basic and/or upper secondary levels Plan, implement, assess, and follow up on teaching in accordance with applicable educational guidelines Work in a motivating and structured manner with clear goals to support students' learning and progression Adapt teaching to adult students' varying prior knowledge, needs, and study pace Maintain regular student contact via learning platform, digital meetings, and email Work with both distance and remote teaching as well as on-site instruction and examination Collaborate with colleagues and other functions within the organization Actively contribute to the school's systematic quality and development work Start Date: December 1, 2026. We Are Looking for You If You: Are a certified teacher with qualifications in mathematics and/or science subjects at basic and/or upper secondary level Have experience teaching in adult education or other relevant teaching experience Have good experience with digital teaching and digital learning platforms Can work independently, in a structured manner, and with a solution-oriented approach Have a clear focus on students and the ability to meet students with different backgrounds Have good collaboration skills and enjoy working collegially Experience with Komvux as well as distance and remote teaching is a merit.
