Your new job With us, you will be a teaching teacher in mathematics and physics in our natural sciences program. You are responsible for planning and conducting instruction according to current curriculum guidelines and continuously evaluating your own teaching. You are involved in driving and developing our natural sciences program together with committed colleagues. You participate in the subject team to further develop subject instruction. About you We are looking for you who have completed teacher training with certification to teach mathematics and physics at the upper secondary level. Previous teaching experience, preferably within upper secondary school, is a merit, as is experience in leading young people for the purpose of teaching them something. As a person, you have good pedagogical insight and the ability to motivate and inspire learning. You take responsibility for your own work and work in a structured way to move forward in your own planning and teaching. You see the importance of building good relationships with students in order to motivate learning. You are a natural leader in the classroom and have good ability to collaborate with others. As a person, you contribute to a positive and developed work environment together with your colleagues. About our school Brinellgymnasiet is located in Nässjö and is one of five schools within Höglandsgymnasiet. Together we improve expertise, raise quality and give upper secondary students even better conditions to succeed. At Brinellgymnasiet we have approximately 200 employees and approximately 1100 students. We offer 14 national programs and have a national sports gymnasium in bowling, national sports education in bandy and basketball, and local sports education in basketball, soccer and ice hockey. We strive for structure in teaching, that there should be a quiet working atmosphere in lessons and that our students should feel safe and comfortable with us. The school has a newly renovated modern library that is an important part of the educational activities. Good to know The position is full-time with start date by agreement. To ensure that all new employees in our teaching positions have the correct qualifications, we ask you to attach a valid teacher credential obtained from Skolverket and no older than two months.
