JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher for grades 7-9 in Math/Science at Sofiedalsskolan, you will teach classes, serve as a class advisor, and be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons in your subjects. The work is carried out according to established goals and guidelines. The responsibilities also include mentoring and working together with your colleagues to create a good, engaging, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You challenge and support students so they achieve good academic results and adapt your teaching based on all students' needs and circumstances. The work is conducted in collaboration with other educators, student support services, guardians, and other external partners. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you—a certified teacher with credentials to teach Math/Science in grades 7-9. You have good knowledge of the primary school curriculum and work in accordance with applicable regulations. Formal competencies: • Teaching degree and teacher certification with credentials to teach Math/Science in grades 7-9 • Good knowledge of the primary school curriculum • Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • Knowledge of and experience with digital tools, such as documentation in Unikum or Office To succeed in this role, you: • Are relationship-focused and have the ability to build trusting relationships • Are collaboration-oriented and have an unpretentious approach • Are clear and consistent in your leadership.
