We are now seeking a PE and Health teacher for a substitute position during Fall Term 2026 with the possibility of extension. The position is an 80% substitute role with start date Fall 2026, with possibility of extension. A probationary period applies for the first 6 months. Job Description You will be part of a team that includes special educators, specialist teachers, and subject teachers, and you will need to work as a team around specific students but independently when required. You work together in a team with teacher colleagues and support pedagogues. Our mission is to together guide and support students in their social and academic development. In the team, pedagogues help each other with planning, teaching, and students' school day. Mentorship of a class is included in the role. Who Are You? You hold a Swedish teaching degree in PE for grades 4-9 and Swedish teaching certification. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement curriculum goals in your work. You have distinct leadership and are confident in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are an engaged and collaborative pedagogue who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is essential for you. You communicate directly and humbly with guardians and build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You should be positive and cooperative and willing to join an international team. In your role you teach in Swedish, but among colleagues we primarily speak English but also Swedish. This means you need to be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.
