Physical Education and Health Teacher with a Heart for Our Students About the Workplace We are congratulating our physical education and health teacher who is expecting a child, and we are now seeking an engaged substitute teacher who wants to be part of our team during her parental leave. Welcome to Frändeskolan in Frändefors, an F–6 school with approximately 200 students. The school has two after-school care units and we also collaborate with Rösebo school, whose students have parts of their instruction with us. Job Responsibilities As a physical education and health teacher, you are responsible for instruction with students from preschool class through grade 6. You plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on the curriculum's goals and create conditions for each student to develop to their full potential. You inspire students to enjoy movement, healthy lifestyle habits, and a positive view of physical activity. Through varied and inclusive instruction, you give all students the opportunity to feel included, develop according to their abilities, and experience growth. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified physical education and health teacher for grades F–6 and who have a strong belief in every student's ability to succeed. You have a positive view of students and meet them with respect and warmth. Through clear, safe, and empathetic leadership, you create good conditions for learning, participation, and development. You see each individual and build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Collaboration is a natural part of your work style and you actively contribute to a culture where we together take responsibility for students' learning, health, and well-being. At Frändeskolan, we have a well-developed multiprofessional approach where student well-being is the responsibility of the entire school. You will become an important part of close collaboration with colleagues and student health professionals to identify needs, find solutions, and create the best conditions for each student's development. Terms This position is a limited-term substitute role starting in January 2027 and running preliminarily until June 16, 2027.
