The Education Administration oversees preschool, pedagogical childcare, after-school programs, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, komvux as special education for adults, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth center, open preschool, and cultural school. Preschool and after-school activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, with geographic distribution throughout the municipality. Altorpskolan, the municipality's only grades 7-9 school, admits students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Kunskapskällan, the municipality's upper secondary school, is also located in Herrljunga town. Altorpskolan has approximately 340 students and about 50 staff members working with them. The school has fourteen classes and is led by two principals. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES We are now seeking a qualified Physical Education & Health teacher for a school with fantastic facilities for this subject. The school has access to a sports hall with bleachers and an indoor gymnasium, and is located in the same building as a swimming pool, gym, and group exercise facility. You will: - teach Physical Education & Health in grades 7-9. - serve as a mentor for a class together with a mentor colleague. - plan, conduct, and document your teaching based on curriculum guidelines, both independently and collaboratively with colleagues in subject and work teams. QUALIFICATIONS We seek a teacher with teacher certification and solid subject knowledge. You are an engaged teacher who can set boundaries and create a safe classroom environment. As a mentor, we see you as a key person in your mentees' educational journey. You take responsibility for the entire school's development and want to drive it forward with us. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date 2026-11-02. In Herrljunga Municipality, full-time work is the standard with the possibility of part-time arrangements.
