Description Bergsgårdsskolan welcomes students from preschool class through grade 6. The school is currently a 2-parallel primary school and adapted primary school from grades 1–6 with students studying subjects and subject areas. The school is located in Hjällbo with immediate proximity to natural areas and five minutes from the Hjällbo tram stop. Bergsgårdsskolan is a school where students are at the center. Our focus is always on students, both individually and in groups. We provide, for example, plenty of encouragement and praise and see the positive in each student. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a teacher in Physical Education and Health. Your role is to use both breadth and depth in your subject knowledge to put these in context in order to inspire and engage students. We want you, together with other staff members at the school, to contribute to creating intrinsic motivation in students and give them the tools they need to meet future challenges. The position is based in the primary school, but you will also teach a few classes in the adapted primary school. The position is temporary until June 14, 2027 and is at 80%, which means you will work four full days per week. You will be joining a team of motivated, competent, and engaged teachers who are dedicated to their work. Qualifications We are seeking you if you are a licensed teacher with certification to teach Physical Education and Health. You have a positive view of people and you value good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are confident in your teaching role and your classroom leadership. You can create a sense of security in the group, awaken curiosity and a desire to learn and express creativity. You are passionate about your subject and offer high-quality instruction.
