Lysvik School with its associated after-school program is centrally located in Lysvik parish. The school has students ages 6 to 12 distributed from preschool class through grade 6. In our after-school activities and at school, we collectively take responsibility for all students and collaborate with the preschool Barnens Hus, which is located on the same school grounds. Job Responsibilities: As a teacher in the after-school program / recreation pedagogue, you will participate in planning, organizing, and developing the after-school program's activities together with colleagues in accordance with the curriculum. Your primary role is teacher in after-school program / recreation pedagogue, but during school hours you will, based on your competence and experience, work with student groups alongside other educators at the school. Certain teaching responsibilities may occur, as well as support for students with special needs, which is part of the position. Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include teacher certification with authorization to conduct after-school education, a university degree intended for work as a recreation pedagogue, or teacher certification for the earlier years of primary school. You have a holistic perspective, interest and commitment to the whole student's development, are flexible and able to adapt, and have the ability to meet students at different levels using different methods. Terms: The position is a temporary appointment through November 2027. Interviews are held on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the application deadline closes.
