The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments and is responsible for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adapted primary and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes all children and students in lifelong learning and work according to the direction "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great emphasis on working close to operations through regular dialogue and support to school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.
At Vasaskolan, we work with children in focus. All adults at the school share responsibility for our children, and we have support functions that can be engaged when something is outside the ordinary.
We believe that an environment where we respect each other, treat each other with kindness and tolerance, and take responsibility for ourselves and others, both adults and children, is a prerequisite for a functioning school. We have a staffed school library and a school librarian who collaborates with teachers at the school in areas such as information retrieval, source management, and social media. At Vasaskolan's after-school program, there are four departments: Falken, Gladan, Höken, and Ugglan. We strive to offer a wide range of activities during after-school hours. There is also an opportunity to relax here.

JOB DUTIES
Teacher with focus on after-school program work. Within school collaboration, you are a teacher in music, art, or physical education, and in the afternoon a pedagogue skilled in children's communication, leisure, and culture. The assignment involves meeting students between 6 and 12 years old before, after, and during the school day and placing the students' social development in focus. Based on the goals set for the operation, you as a teacher in the after-school program shall collaborate with other positions and create a good pedagogical operation aimed at promoting children's/young people's learning and development. As a teacher in the after-school program, you inspire children/young people to new discoveries and interests, and you take great responsibility for social instruction during the student's breaks.
QUALIFICATIONS
The work requires teacher certification.
