Description
Torslanda School is an F-6 school with approximately 400 students. The school is brand new and located in central Torslanda. Despite the central location, we have easy access to forest and nature. We are now seeking two teachers for our afterschool programs for younger children.
As we expand the school with more students, we need to hire afterschool teachers. In our afterschool program, you will develop and conduct pedagogical work with younger children.
Responsibilities
As a teacher in our afterschool program, you will work to develop and conduct pedagogical activities together with a team consisting of both primary school teachers and afterschool teachers. You believe it is important to create conditions for all children so they can develop well in a stimulating environment where play and curiosity are in focus.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who is a licensed afterschool teacher. You have experience from pedagogical work with children where you have independently and in groups planned, implemented, and evaluated your work.
You are experienced in collaborating with different teachers/teams and you are good at communicating with parents. You fully share the values reflected in the curriculum. Children's learning is your focus and you have a habit of working goal-oriented. You are passionate about providing children with meaningful leisure time and you plan activities based on their needs and interests.
Creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is self-evident to you. You understand the importance of children's play and movement for learning. You are also flexible and take initiative easily. Other important abilities you have include creating a good work climate, having a calm and professional approach, and appreciating working with people.
