Description Sjumilaskolan is an F-6 school in northern Biskopsgården with approximately 360 wonderful students and 60 competent and engaged staff members. The school has two assistant principals who together oversee the school's pedagogical and day-to-day operations. The school is part of school district 20 together with Nya Skolan under a shared principal for the district. At Sjumilaskolan we actively work toward continuously increased goal achievement, a language-developing and inclusive approach, and develop digital learning tools in instruction. At Sjumilaskolan we recently started implementing PALS. PALS is a model that develops and builds a good learning environment for all students, staff, and parents through positive actions and participation. A secure learning environment is characterized by clear expectations for learning goals, positive behavior, and social skills. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking two after-school teachers who want to help develop our after-school program. You will work in one of our after-school departments and during the school day you will work in the classroom together with classroom teachers. As an after-school teacher you will have planning responsibility where you are expected to plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate the after-school program according to current guidelines and program goals. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified and qualified after-school teacher. Previous experience working in similar activities and planning responsibility is a merit. We are looking for you who has strong pedagogical ability and finds it easy to inspire, motivate, and create engagement among our students. Since significant focus is placed on planning and working together with colleagues and school leadership to develop high-quality programming, we are seeking you who has strong collaboration skills. We also see that you are responsible and have the ability to work independently. For newly graduated teachers, you will participate in the Elementary School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction program for newly graduated teachers. The introduction gives you as a newly graduated teacher a network with other newly graduates and directed activities during your first year as a teacher. Welcome to apply!
