We are now recruiting two recreational pedagogues for Nya läroverket Bergnäset's program. Nya läroverket is Luleå's first independent primary school spanning grades preschool through 9. Nya läroverket started in August 2006 and currently has over 420 students at Bergviken. In fall 2012, an additional campus for students in preschool through grade 9 opened at Bergnäset. In fall 2021, we opened our third primary school campus located in Svartöstaden. In total, approximately 105 people work at Nya läroverket with approximately 880 students across our operations. The school's founder is Gunvor Selberg, a Doctor of Philosophy in Learning. Our school's profile is Art & Science, where we work interdisciplinarily and project-based with Natural Sciences and art subjects including visual arts, craft, and music. Students work with a common theme one day per week. The school operates a full-day program with voluntary club activities for students in the mornings and afternoons. In the clubs, students can develop special interests and talents, or receive additional support. We are now looking for two recreational instructors for our program. You will work as part of a team with colleagues and also collaborate in classroom settings with a teaching team. We are seeking motivated individuals with the right mindset for the role. Your love for children and their development is an important quality. We work in small teams where you have opportunities to develop yourself alongside our educators and other staff.
