Since fall 2025, we operate in a newly constructed school with modern learning environments and proximity to both forest and lake, which provides excellent opportunities for outdoor education. WORK TASKS As an afterschool teacher, you will be an important part of our continued development work. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and developing the afterschool program's instruction based on the curriculum's goals. You help create an activity where students are given the opportunity to develop their abilities, feel involved, and experience meaningful and safe afterschool time. For the 2026/2027 school year, we have common focus areas for both school and afterschool: • Reading • Mathematics • Language in all subjects, in all spaces • Grades and assessment • Relational leadership It is important to us that we approach our professional responsibility based on our guiding documents. We should have a scientific approach, where we know why we make the choices we do. In our planning and decisions, we have student learning and well-being at the center, and we know that our shared task is that students will graduate one day. You are an important piece of that puzzle. Together we work to create an equitable operation where collaboration between school and afterschool is important. The afterschool program is an important part of students' entire school day and complements instruction while developing its own pedagogical mission. The school's nature-adjacent location provides excellent opportunities to use outdoor education as a natural part of the operation. If you also have certification in music, we see that as an asset. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking you who: • are trained and certified as an afterschool teacher • are well versed in Lgr 22 and have digital competence • have strong knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form It is a merit if you have previous experience with similar assignments and pedagogical work. We believe that you want to be part of developing an afterschool program where student learning, participation, and well-being are at the center. You have good understanding of students' different conditions and adapt the operation to support and challenge each student in their development. Through a relational approach, you create good collaborations with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible, see possibilities in change, and want to contribute to developing both the afterschool program and collaboration with the school. Employment type: Permanent employment.
