Approximately 270 wonderful students attend here. We have three after-school program sections with grades F-3 on each section. Job Responsibilities You are assigned to an after-school section but collaborate with other after-school teachers across all sections, creating and planning activities and goals for the program together. Depending on your qualifications, teaching may also occur in the school. Collaboration between the school and after-school program is an important part of creating continuity and coherence in students' days. In this role, you contribute to: - conducting instruction in the after-school program based on students' needs, interests, and experiences - creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment - strengthening students' social skills, sense of responsibility, and interpersonal abilities - working preventively for safety and study focus, including during breaks and transitions - contributing to fairness, structure, and clear approaches - participating in and developing the after-school program's systematic quality work - collaborating with colleagues and guardians regarding students' development Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified after-school teacher. Experience from after-school programs and schools is meritorious, but we also welcome newly graduated teachers. Other relevant and equivalent education may also be of interest. You have good knowledge of the after-school program's governing documents and work consciously to build safe and trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are clear in your communication, have a positive and professional approach, and actively contribute to the school's development work. Personal suitability carries great weight.
