Job Responsibilities As a Leisure Time Instructor, you will be part of a team consisting of primary school teachers and leisure time instructors who together plan, implement, and develop activities. Through close collaboration, you will help create continuity between school time and leisure time, with focus on students' development, learning, and well-being. You will work both in the leisure time program and in the school's activities. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and deliver engaging, stimulating, and meaningful instruction that takes advantage of students' curiosity, interests, and creativity. The leisure time program's mission is to complement school instruction by offering students a safe and developmental environment where they have opportunities to develop their learning, social skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to collaborate with others. Instruction takes place both indoors and outdoors and is based on play, creative activities, movement, and student participation. You will help create activities that encourage exploration, community, and active learning throughout the day. Working as a Leisure Time Instructor is creative, varied, and developmentally rewarding. It requires flexibility, initiative, and a solution-focused approach. At the same time, it offers great opportunities to influence and contribute to students' development both academically and socially. Qualifications Licensed teacher with specialization in leisure time instruction. We are looking for someone who wants to be a role model for our students and has strong confidence in their abilities. You have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a positive work environment by sharing knowledge and experience. You are relationship-focused and find it easy to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and can adapt your working approach based on the needs of the program and students. You also have good verbal communication skills and express yourself clearly and attentively in various contexts. You have high social competence and a clear willingness to work with colleagues and leadership to develop both yourself and the program you work in.
