About the role You will work with our students in adapted primary school who study according to subjects and/or subject areas in grades 1–9. Here you will teach music and work in our after-school program. The after-school center is located adjacent to the adapted primary school classrooms, which is beneficial for both students and staff. We are currently reorganizing the after-school activities at the school, and you will have a great opportunity to help shape how we work going forward. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and documenting instruction in after-school and school settings. You will design pedagogical activities so that each individual student's unique conditions and abilities are utilized and challenged according to the after-school program's mission. For this, you have both individual planning time and planning time with colleagues. At Frejaskolan, we continuously work to develop both our after-school activities and recess activities. About Frejaskolan Frejaskolan is a primary school (grades F–9) and adapted primary school (grades 1–9) with an attached after-school program. Qualifications Formal competencies: We are looking for someone who is trained and licensed as an after-school teacher with qualification to teach music. You also have a specialist teacher degree in intellectual disabilities or have experience teaching students with support needs and are interested in obtaining a specialist teacher degree in intellectual disabilities. You can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
