JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an after-school teacher, you are responsible for planning and implementing activities at our after-school program for students in preschool class through grade 3. You work in close collaboration with the school's after-school staff to create continuity throughout the students' entire school day. There are great opportunities here for those who enjoy development work to participate in and influence pedagogical planning and the after-school program's continued development. Several days a week you open and close the after-school facility.
Together with your colleagues, you plan activities based on the curriculum so that students have the opportunity to learn in all situations, both during class time and through the after-school program's activities. You actively work to build strong relationships with students and guardians and contribute to a safe and stimulating environment. We appreciate your interest in movement and recreational activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a pedagogical degree and teacher certification, which gives you the qualifications to work as an after-school teacher. You may also have ongoing studies that will be completed shortly. Experience working according to the current curriculum (Lgr22) is an asset.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are a leader who can adapt your leadership to the situation in the classroom and can plan and follow up on your work. Communicating with both adults and children feels natural to you. We believe you want to develop in your role as a teacher and contribute to the school's continued development. You are an engaged employee with good collaboration skills who can build trust and listen to different needs.
