We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated certified teacher for the after-school program at Björktjära School, who wants to lead the development of our elementary schools. The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date immediately or by agreement.
Responsibilities
As a teacher, you will teach in Björktjära School's after-school program. In addition to teaching, you will plan, conduct, evaluate, and analyze pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum and applicable guidelines.
In the after-school program, you will work to create meaningful and developmental activities where students are given the opportunity to develop their social skills, creativity, responsibility, and independence. Through varied activities such as creative work, play, movement, outdoor activities, digital competence, and values-based education, you will stimulate students' learning and development both individually and in groups.
You contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment where students feel involved and a sense of community. The after-school program's activities are an important complement to school instruction and utilize students' interests, experiences, and needs.
Through collaboration with other staff at the school, you will also work for the school's development and strive to create a good environment for both students and staff. You cooperate with teachers, student support services, and guardians to support students' learning, well-being, and development throughout the school day.
Qualifications
We are looking for a certified teacher with authorization to teach in after-school programs. Great weight is placed on personality suitability, ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and other adults, and to otherwise be a good role model. As you will be part of a team working with colleagues, we see that you are a person with good responsibility and collaboration skills.
