Your assignment includes, among other things: Plan and lead pedagogical activities at the after-school program and actively work with the school's compensatory mission, for example through language-developing games and structured activities. Work with planning, teaching, evaluation, and values-based education based on the curriculum. Promote collegial learning through discussion and reflection at both planned and spontaneous occasions. To benefit student learning as well as your own and the operation's development, you make use of different professions' experiences and knowledge. Collaborate with other professional groups during the school day, take responsibility for different students and/or student groups, and take responsibility for recess activities to create security and study peace. Step in and provide support to students with special needs within language disorders and NPF, for example autism. Collaborate with both guardians and colleagues regarding the student to achieve higher goal fulfillment and create the best conditions for each student. The school has approximately 145 students from preschool class through year 6, many with multicultural backgrounds. The school includes three after-school program departments that together have approximately 70 students. You Who Are Applying First and foremost, we are looking for you who have teacher certification with credentials in after-school programs. Second, we are looking for you with a diploma or completed education as a teacher in after-school programs. Alternatively, you are near the end of your education as a teacher in after-school programs. It is meritorious if you have credentials to teach physical education or music. It is also meritorious if you have experience working with students with language disorders and NPF, for example autism. It is a requirement that you have experience as a teacher in curriculum-based after-school programs, through internship or as an employee. It is meritorious if you have worked as a teacher in an after-school program for at least one school year. In your role as a teacher in the after-school program, you have: Good knowledge of the school's mission and are well acquainted with the curriculum (Lgr22) and other governing documents. Good communicative ability in speech and writing in the Swedish language. This is so that you, according to the curriculum (Lgr22), can organize and implement the work so that the student receives support in their language and communication development. You are responsible for ensuring that each student develops their ability to use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way. The ability to adapt your teaching to the students and let them participate in shaping the teaching. In your role as a teacher in the after-school program, you are a good role model for the students.
