At the Education Department in Järfälla Municipality, approximately 3,100 employees work in one of our 39 preschools, 22 schools, upper secondary school, adult education, and central administration. Aspnässkolan is a grades F-6 school with approximately 265 students, located in the center of Jakobsberg near commuter train stations and good transportation links. As a smaller unit, we have short decision-making paths and close collaboration between school management, staff, students, and guardians. With us, every student is everyone's responsibility. DUTIES We are looking for a teacher in the afterschool program with a focus on values-based work! During school hours, you work with preventive and supportive efforts concerning students' social relationships and contexts from a holistic perspective. Your focus will be grades F-3. You follow up on harassment cases in collaboration with students and educators, working closely with the school's counselor. You observe and map what you see, and based on that, you plan interventions. You plan, implement, and evaluate your work independently. You participate in the school's values group that works preventively and supportively across all grade levels in various ways. During breaks, you work close to the students and move to where you see the greatest needs. You work with social initiatives and preventive efforts for safety and academic focus. You see the schoolyard and transitions as a pedagogical learning environment where students' play, movement, recovery, safety, and development are fostered. From a full-day perspective, you work as an afterschool program teacher in the afternoon program. Currently, we have three units with grades F, grades 1-2, and grades 3-6. You work with a focus on grades F-3, carrying out leisure-time pedagogical work based on care, meaning, and learning using the afterschool program curriculum as a foundation, combined with your social work during school hours. You have time for your own planning and meetings in your schedule. You also plan in consultation with school management and colleagues for the different periods of the leisure-time program, overarching goals, and ongoing development work for the afterschool program and the school's social initiatives. We can offer you: A group of engaged educators Work supported by school management A smaller school with curious and happy students An opportunity to work with a focus on students' relationships from a full-day perspective QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • You are trained as an elementary teacher in afterschool programs • You practice relational pedagogy and adapt your approach based on students' needs • It is important that you are comfortable both outdoors and indoors • You are a proficient computer user • You are driven, goal-oriented, and work independently • You have mastery of Swedish language, both spoken and written Meritorious qualifications: • Preferably experienced with the Stella system or other harassment reporting systems • Passionate about working at a school in a socioeconomically disadvantaged area • You are driven, goal-oriented, and work independently • You have experience investigating harassment cases A probationary period may be applied.
