The school is organized into four grade-level teams that work closely together with teachers, after-school staff, student support services, and school management. In the after-school program, we work toward student learning and well-being based on goals we develop together at the start of each school year. The after-school program provides our students with the best foundation for their future. They get the opportunity to try, reconsider, and reinforce their knowledge through experience-based learning. This fall, we will participate in the Swedish National Education Agency's Language Initiative in the after-school program, which broadly aims to strengthen students' language development, reading interest, and reading skills to improve student knowledge of the Swedish language. Your responsibilities In this position, you will combine the role of after-school program teacher with physical education instruction in grades 1 and 2. In this role, you will among other things plan, implement, and follow up on pedagogical activities in the after-school program, with a focus on play, creativity, and students' social development. You are responsible for and lead physical education instruction according to curriculum objectives. An important part of the work is collaborating closely with other teachers and after-school staff to create continuity throughout each student's day with us. You are also expected to work actively on creating safe, supportive relationships and inclusive learning environments where all students have the opportunity to develop. Beyond daily pedagogical work, you contribute to the school's development initiatives, for example in areas such as student voice, cultural projects, and values-based work. Who are you? You are a certified after-school program teacher and thrive in the role of a clear and warm leader for student groups. We consider it a merit if you have experience working as an after-school pedagogue, and it is important that you have knowledge of the after-school program's mission and are well acquainted with the after-school program curriculum and other governing documents. You have a strong interest in physical education, and if you have experience teaching physical education, we see that as a merit. You need to have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
