We are now looking for a certified teacher for After-school Care and Grades F-3.
The position is full-time. Start date preferably August 2026 if possible. A trial period applies for the first 6 months.
Job Description
Work as a teacher in after-school care and in preschool class through Grade 3. You are part of a team of teachers for Grades F-3. Your work includes planning, implementing, and following up your teaching based on LGR22. You also have a mentorship role, which means you have overall responsibility for students' knowledge development. You maintain close dialogue with students' guardians and conduct development meetings.
We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for students in their lifelong learning. Our activities are characterized by a positive approach and we have strong confidence in students' abilities. A strong value foundation and positive student perspective is very important to us. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developing, and stimulating learning environment for the students. You work as a team with teacher colleagues, support pedagogues, and after-school staff. Our mission is to together lead and support students in their social and academic development. In the team, pedagogues help each other with planning, teaching, and students' school day.
Who are you?
You have a Swedish teaching degree with specialization in after-school care and Grades 1-3, as well as Swedish teaching certification. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to apply the curriculum's goals in your work. You have clear leadership and are strong with your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and collaborative pedagogue who challenges and stimulates students towards development. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is self-evident to you.
You have straightforward and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
You should be positive and cooperative and willing to join an international team.
In your role you teach in Swedish. Among colleagues we speak Swedish/English.
