Jumkils School is a newly built grades F-5 school with approximately 100 students distributed across 6 classes. The school has an attractive school environment, both in the school's facilities and on the schoolyard and surrounding natural areas. The school has an after-school program for grades F-5. We work extensively with preventive work and are part of both the KiVa and well-being programs. KiVa is values-based work and the well-being program advocates play and movement during breaks through structured games led by students with the participation of adults.
Jumkils School also works with cooperative learning, which is a pedagogical method we use in the classrooms. Jumkil and Bälinge schools have shared school leadership and student support teams. There is well-developed cooperation between the schools.

Description of Job Duties
As a teacher in the after-school program, you will be responsible for and develop our after-school activities by participating in developing methods and pedagogy in the after-school program. This also includes implementing pedagogical activities indoors and outdoors. You are expected to contribute your pedagogical knowledge based on the after-school program's compensatory mission and drive pedagogical development and ensure meaningful content during after-school hours. In addition to your duties in the after-school program, you will also be responsible for and teach physical education at the school.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have teacher certification with qualifications for after-school programs and qualifications to teach the subject physical education and health. We would like to see that you have experience working with students with special educational needs. If you have experience working in after-school programs and/or physical education instruction, this is considered an asset.
As a person, you adapt easily to changing circumstances. You can quickly change your perspective and way of working, and you see opportunities in change. You collaborate well with others and build good relationships with students, colleagues and guardians. You are responsive and flexible in your approach, listen actively, communicate clearly and handle conflicts constructively.
