Your Role
As an afterschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in the afterschool program according to the curriculum's goals. You will contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where students have the opportunity to develop both socially and academically.
You will work in the afterschool program and collaborate with the school's other staff during the school day. With your music competence, you will play an important role in developing and enriching the program. Through music activities, you create opportunities for students to express themselves, collaborate, and develop their creativity. We see music as a natural part of students' learning and development and welcome your ideas and initiatives.
Your tasks will include:
- Planning, implementing, and following up on instruction and activities in the afterschool program
- Supporting students in their learning during school time
- Creating structure and safety through clear leadership
- Collaborating with guardians, colleagues, and other professionals at the school
- Participating in systematic quality work and contributing to program development
Your Experience
We are looking for you who:
- Are trained and certified afterschool teacher
- Have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
- Have good knowledge and understanding of the school's governing documents and implement them in your daily work
- Have music as a specialization or good competence and experience in music
- Have experience planning, organizing, and conducting afterschool activities and musical activities, including end-of-year celebrations and other special occasions
- Can teach in one or more subjects as needed
- Have strong didactic and pedagogical abilities that form the basis of your planning and instruction
- Can adapt activities, structure, and communication to meet students' different needs
