The school has approximately 250 students and about 30 teachers work here. The school has great commitment and a familial, inclusive atmosphere. Employment Information The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting September 14, 2026, or by agreement. Your Tasks In this position, you will teach music, oversee club activities in the afternoons, and serve as a resource in the classroom and during recess supervision. Your role as an afterschool teacher is to provide meaningful leisure time where you start from students' needs, interests, and initiatives while also inspiring new discoveries. Together with your colleagues, you offer students a variety of working methods, forms of expression, and learning environments where care and learning are integrated. You collaborate with educators in preschool and school to contribute to students' goal achievement. Contact and collaboration with guardians is also an important part of the work. About You You are well-versed in the school's governing documents, have the ability to vary teaching and activities based on students' needs. You are a secure adult and a good role model who has the ability to connect with students, see each individual, and create a good learning environment. You motivate students by allowing them to be involved and come with their own suggestions. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Requirements Certified afterschool teacher with authorization to teach music Have/have applied for teacher certification Experience working with children and young people in leisure activities/school Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written Valid extract from the criminal record register We warmly welcome your application!
