As a teacher in the after-school program, you become part of an operation where safety, learning, and community are in focus. Together with colleagues, you create a meaningful after-school program where students have the opportunity to develop their interests, creativity, and social abilities. We work for an after-school program based on the students' needs and circumstances, where instruction, play, and activities contribute to development and learning. Your Assignment As a teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in the after-school program based on current guidelines and students' needs and circumstances. You will work with responsibility at both Skogsbrynets and Granens after-school programs. Skogsbrynet belongs to the primary school, but students from adapted primary school also attend there in an integrated manner. Granen belongs to adapted primary school. Together with your colleagues, you create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive operation where students have the opportunity to develop through play, learning, creativity, and social community. Your assignment includes: planning and implementing activities that promote student learning and development creating structure and safety in students' daily lives adapting instruction and activities based on students' different needs and circumstances collaborating with colleagues and guardians regarding student development and learning contributing to the development of the after-school program's instruction and operation Your Competence and Experience Requirements Primary Teacher degree with focus on work in after-school programs Meritorious Experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF) and/or intellectual disabilities (IF) Knowledge of Prorenata Knowledge of Tempus Is This You? You are proactive and contribute with ideas and activities that develop the operation and create a meaningful after-school program for students. You take initiative and drive the work forward based on students' needs and the operation's goals. You are relationship-building and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. With your pedagogical insight, you understand how students acquire knowledge in different ways and adapt your working methods based on their different needs and circumstances. In your leadership, you create safety, clarity, and engagement in the student group. You work in a structured manner and plan, organize, and follow up your work in a way that creates predictability and good conditions for student development and learning.
