Bjärehovskolan is a municipal F-9 school with approximately 620 students. After-school care has five departments: Kastanjen, Syrenen, Björken, and Linden with approximately 50 students per department, plus the Eken department for intermediate students. The school was built in 2022 and is located in the center of Bjärred. We are within walking distance to several beautiful natural surroundings and playgrounds. You will collaborate with 13 other after-school teachers and pedagogues. We are a cheerful group with plenty of laughter. We help each other and continuously work to develop our activities. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS The role of after-school teacher/pedagogue with us We want you to view your assignment as developmental, relational, important, and challenging. For us, it is important that you take responsibility for having fun at work and feel pride in your role. Here you have the opportunity to collaborate unpretentiously to increase students' sense of security and goal achievement. We focus on developmental learning environments, movement throughout the day, and ensuring students feel safe and enjoy coming to school and after-school care to learn. Work tasks and areas of responsibility • your goal is for students to enjoy being in after-school care. • you want to participate and contribute in the school's development groups from an after-school pedagogy perspective. • you want to help shape the after-school program so that it is fun, meaningful, enjoyable, developmental, and educational. • you believe that concrete planning and collaboration with other pedagogues are essential for the job. • you want to continue developing in your professional role and frequently reflect on how you can contribute to improved results QUALIFICATIONS • you are a qualified after-school teacher or a licensed after-school pedagogue. • you are comfortable working with students from an F-9 perspective. • you have good knowledge of, experience with, and are comfortable helping students with diabetes. • you have a positive view of students and want every student to succeed according to their own abilities. • you have experience building strong relationships. • you communicate well and are always professional in every interaction with students, guardians, and staff. • you have experience working in a Google environment. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. We report salary for the 10th and 90th percentile: 37,000–45,000 kr/month.
