As an afterschool teacher at Albanoskolan you are responsible for creating an inspiring and developmental environment for students during their time in the afterschool program. You work both during school hours as a pedagogical resource in the classroom and after school in the afterschool program. The role involves actively contributing to students' social and personal development through structured activities, play and learning. The daily work consists of, among other things: • Plan and carry out meaningful activities that promote students' development and learning in the afterschool program. • Support students pedagogically during school hours as a resource in the classroom. • Create safety and structure through clear boundaries, calm communication and good leadership. • Build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues to promote collaboration and well-being. • Contribute to the development of the program through innovative thinking, initiative and goal-oriented work. QUALIFICATIONS Who are we looking for? We are looking for a certified afterschool teacher who is a safe and clear teacher with a calm and attentive approach. You have a natural ability to meet each student based on their needs and create an environment where children feel seen and appreciated. You are relationship-building, organized and actively contribute to a positive culture in the afterschool program and team. We value your ability to take initiative and your solution-focused approach. You enjoy collaboration, are creative in your pedagogy and see opportunities in every encounter with children, guardians and colleagues. Competency Requirements: • Experience working in afterschool programs • Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Mentor training is a merit as we are a partner school with the task of receiving teacher students.
