After-School Program Teacher

Description Gnarps School is located in central Gnarp, midway between Sundsvall and Hudiksvall. We have classes from preschool through grade 6 as well as an after-school program. We also offer a free after-school club for grades 4-6. The school also includes an integrated public and school library. We actively work on school development and collaborative learning to increase goal achievement. Health and learning go hand in hand, and we believe that "Students who learn feel well and students who feel well learn." Job Responsibilities We are seeking a teacher for the after-school program. You will be part of the after-school program team and together you will plan, implement, and evaluate the activities. If you are a certified after-school program teacher with a specialty in either visual arts or music, you will teach that subject. You will also work together with the school's teachers and other teams. We actively work with analysis and systematic quality improvement. The after-school program is an important part of the school's student well-being efforts and works closely with the school's student well-being team. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a certified, licensed after-school program teacher with a specialization in visual arts or music. We see that you as an applicant work to build good relationships with both students and parents, and that you are flexible, open-minded, and have strong collaboration skills. You are creative and can engage and motivate students in learning, and you contribute new pedagogical ideas to the team and school.
