In a quiet and scenic setting with views over the Öresund strait and beautiful Ven lies Glumslöv School. Geographically, Glumslöv is an excellent village to commute to with good opportunities for communication by bus, train, bicycle or car. The school is an F-9 school with approximately 500 students and is part of the school area Härslöv/Glumslöv with a shared principal, student health team and professional development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to create a safe, inspiring and meaningful day for children? Are you an engaged and creative educator who loves building relationships, leading activities and contributing to children's development? Then you are the after-school teacher we are looking for!
As a teacher in after-school care at Glumslöv School, you are responsible for creating an inspiring and developing environment for students during their time in after-school activities. You work both during school hours as a pedagogical resource in the classroom and after school in the after-school center. The role involves actively contributing to students' social and personal development through structured activities, play and learning. The work can be both independent and as part of our engaged team. With us, you get a meaningful assignment where you shape children's day from play to learning.
Daily work includes, among other things:
• Plan and implement meaningful activities that promote students' development and learning in the after-school center.
• Support students pedagogically during school hours as a resource in the classroom.
• Create security and structure through clear frameworks, low-affective interaction and good leadership.
• Build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues to promote cooperation and well-being.
• Contribute to the development of the activity through new thinking, initiative and goal-oriented work.

QUALIFICATIONS
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a licensed after-school teacher who is a secure and clear teacher with a low-affective and attentive approach. You have a natural ability to meet each student based on their needs and create an environment where children feel seen and appreciated. You are relationship-building, organized and actively contribute to a positive culture in the after-school center and the team. We value your initiative and your solution-focused work approach. You enjoy collaboration, are creative in your pedagogy and see opportunities in every meeting with children, guardians and your colleagues.
Competence Requirements:
• Educated and licensed after-school teacher
• Good knowledge of Swedish speaking and writing
Mentor training is meritorious as we are a partner school with the task of receiving teacher students. Another merit is swimming ability, as swimming instruction may occur.
