For autumn 2026, something new is being created in the Nordost 3 school district in Gothenburg. Two schools are becoming one – and together we are building a new, large, and dedicated middle school at Sandeklevsskolan 7–9. We are now looking for you who wants to be part of this exciting development work from the beginning and contribute to creating a strong, safe, and successful operation for our students.
We are now seeking a certified teacher for grades 7–9 with qualifications in French and Swedish/Swedish as a second language.
From autumn 2026, Sandeklevsskolan will be a dedicated middle school with approximately 15 classes and students in grades 7–9. The school is being formed by merging two operations into one shared middle school organization.

Responsibilities
As a teacher at Sandeklevsskolan 7–9, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in French and Swedish/Swedish as a second language for students in grades 7–9. You teach both in full classes and in smaller groups based on students' needs and the organization's structure. You will also teach French to grade 6.

You will:
plan and implement instruction based on the curriculum and governing documents analyze and follow up on students' knowledge development work closely with colleagues in teaching teams and subject groups actively contribute to the school's development work as we together build up a new organization and culture collaborate with student well-being services and other professionals to create good learning environments Collegial learning is a central part of our operations, and we see collaboration as a prerequisite for success – both for student development and operational development.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
teacher certification with qualifications to teach French and Swedish/Swedish as a second language strong didactic ability and clear pedagogical leadership ability to create structure, safety, and good relationships in the classroom
It is meritorious if you have:
experience teaching at the middle school level experience working in multicultural and/or socioeconomically diverse school settings experience working with accommodations and inclusive learning environments
