We have a valued school library and a newly renovated school restaurant. Job Responsibilities You will teach French in grades 6-9 and an additional subject in grades 7-9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating your teaching in relation to student learning and the school's governing documents. The role includes creating a safe and stimulating environment for our students. In your work, you are expected to use digital tools as a natural part of your teaching. The role also includes being a mentor, which means you will support and coach students in their development, conduct development conversations and maintain close dialogue with guardians and students. You will be part of subject teams and work teams with good conditions for individual development and through collegial learning. Within the subject team, there are good opportunities to collaborate and develop within the subject and teaching. Qualifications The role requires: Teacher certification with authorization in French for grades 6-9 and in one or more additional subjects That you are well familiar with current governing documents Good digital competence Personal Qualities: You are a confident and clear leader with student learning and goal achievement in focus. We see that you are a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships and that you have high competence to meet students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge and abilities. You see student learning from a holistic perspective and have the ability to create good student and parent relationships. You are engaged in school development issues and want to develop in a solution-focused manner together with other colleagues at Britsarvsskolan. Meritorious Qualifications: Experience working with students in need of adaptations and special support in teaching Experience in pedagogical development work Terms of Employment Permanent full-time position with start date 2026-11-01.
