Your New Job
You will teach English and Spanish, and you will also work at the school's resource center. This is a substitute position with a potential opportunity for extension. Your assignment also includes mentoring in grade 8. You will be part of both a work team and a subject team, where you work together to create conditions for successful learning in a safe environment with good relationships.

We have 430 students distributed from grades 7 to 9. The school is beautifully situated on a hillside above Norrahammar with an adjacent sports and swimming hall as well as access to soccer fields. Flahultsskolan is based on the principle of a home base for each grade level with corresponding work teams.
Our school strives to be a leader in preventive values-based work with close collaboration between educators and teachers with a focus on after-school programs, special education teachers, and student wellbeing teams. Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained teacher with teacher certification, or alternatively a bachelor's degree holder who has not yet obtained their teacher certification or is in the final stages of their education, with qualifications in Spanish and English for grades 7-9.
You are flexible, engaged, and have a strong interest in educating and developing young people based on their individual circumstances. You have an interest in knowledge and digitalization methods to develop your teaching. You are confident in your leadership and are a good role model. As a person, you collaborate well, but also take your own initiative and make your own decisions in your work situation. We consider it an asset if you have experience teaching and working with students.
Beyond this, you are well grounded in the primary school's mission and its governing documents and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You also have basic IT skills. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
