Then Fotskälskolan might be the right place for you. Fotskälskolan is an F–6 school with approximately 115 students in a beautiful natural setting in Marks municipality. Here, 7 teachers, 5 after-school staff, and a special education teacher work in close collaboration. We are a dedicated team that enjoys working together and that every day works to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students. An important part of our work is PALS (Positive Behavioral Support in Schools), which permeates our entire operation. Through clear expectations, a shared approach, and focus on positive reinforcement, we create structure, order, and security – both in school and in after-school care. We are now looking for a certified after-school teacher who wants to become part of our team and help us continue to develop the after-school program together with us. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES As an after-school teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in the after-school program based on the curriculum (Lgr22). You contribute to creating a meaningful, educational, and enjoyable program that complements the school's teaching. Your duties include: · Plan and conduct instruction in the after-school program according to the curriculum's goals and guidelines · Work actively with systematic quality improvement together with colleagues · Collaborate with teachers, special education teachers, and the principal to create coherence and continuity in students' days · Work in class as a teacher or resource during the school day · Build safe and trusting relationships with students and guardians · Work in line with the school's PALS structure and contribute to a shared approach We want to continue to strengthen the after-school program's educational mission and are looking for someone who wants to be part of shaping and developing the program forward. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: · Is a certified after-school teacher/after-school educator · Has good knowledge of the after-school program's mission according to the curriculum · Is confident in your leadership and clear in your communication · Has the ability to build good and professional relationships · Sees the value of structure, shared working methods, and collegial collaboration · Is engaged, responsible, and solution-focused · You are welcome to have qualifications to teach music, art, or physical education.
