Description
The Aviation Technology program in Arvidsjaur is part of Sandbackaskolan High School. The Aviation Technology program has a capacity for approximately 60 students distributed across three grade levels. The school has national admissions, which means students can apply to the school from all over the country. The environment at the school reflects the peace of the surrounding nature and community, which makes study time harmonious with opportunities for an active leisure life.
We are seeking a new team member for the Aviation Technology program. You are expected to be actively involved and take great responsibility for the development of both individual courses and the school as a whole.
We are looking for someone with aviation technology background and/or experience working as a vocational instructor teaching future aircraft and helicopter mechanics/technicians, and who wants to be part of developing the program and school.
Duties
Your tasks will consist of planning and implementing instruction based on national and international regulations regarding Aviation Technology training. You will be involved in the school's various development projects. Customary duties for a vocational instructor apply. The position includes the role of Examination Manager (EM) according to EASA standards.
Qualifications
You have:
-Hold aviation technology training Part-66, or equivalent in the applicable category.
-Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as administrative knowledge (document revision management and handbook).
Meritorious
It is an asset if you have:
-Experience from maintenance and/or manufacturing of helicopters and/or aircraft.
-Experience from aircraft maintenance, civil and/or military.
-Good knowledge of applicable regulations Part 66/147 (EU Regulation No. 1321/2014).
-Pedagogical training or teaching experience.
-Understanding of the relationship between EU Regulation No. 2018/1139 and Part-21/66/145/147/M/ML/CAMO/CAO.
-Worked with avionics/aircraft electronics.
You have good collaboration skills and a burning interest in driving operations forward. Great importance is placed on social skills and personal suitability.
Terms
