About the Job Your primary task is to challenge students in their learning together with colleagues and support students in their knowledge development toward set goals. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you will work together with colleagues in your work team to develop the school based on our prioritized development areas. Right now, we are focusing on developing structures for cooperative learning to increase participation and influence in instruction. Through the RTI method (Response To Intervention), we intentionally work with early interventions in reading development and plan to expand this approach to mathematics as well. At Stenhammarskolan, we also look inward at our own operations to find, in an unpretentious way, strengths and development areas to reach as far as possible at the organizational, group, and individual levels. Who Are You You are a certified teacher with authorization to teach in grades F-6, or alternatively F-3. Your ability to create good trusting relationships with students is a prerequisite. We are looking for someone who is well acquainted with the purpose, competencies, and assessment criteria of the subjects and is well versed in the school's knowledge perspective and values-based mission. You have good knowledge and competence in formative learning processes and see great advantages in working across subjects. You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning and accessible learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and participation. You have the ability to see and meet each student. You build on what works and organize broadly to reach as many students as possible through guidance and stimulation in instruction.
