About the Workplace At Angeredsgymnasiet, we are convinced that students who feel comfortable and enjoy their work also succeed better in their studies. Therefore, joy and enthusiasm are just as integral to our school as knowledge and development. Here you will find both college-preparatory programs, vocational programs, and introductory programs. Additionally, we have a dedicated teaching staff, solid development work, and very good collaboration with the job market through our Angeredsutmaningen project. The school also hosts Riksgymnasiet for students with mobility disabilities – one of four such schools in Sweden. Riksgymnasiet is now seeking two colleagues for the 26/27 school year. Therefore, your role as an educator and mentor also includes close collaboration with rehabilitation and the student residence. You will teach students who use alternative communication methods (such as Bliss/eye-controlled computers, etc.) and also conduct individual instruction for students in rehabilitation. You will be part of RG's work team and will work weekly on classroom-focused development work together with your team. Particularly valuable is experience working with students using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and students with acquired brain injuries. You must also have excellent knowledge of web-based pedagogical tools and the ability to individualize instruction according to student needs. Essential qualities include flexibility, creativity, initiative, and excellent collaboration skills. You have the ability to inspire, motivate, and spread positive energy in your work, as well as focus on solutions rather than problems. You have excellent communicative and social skills and are, as a person, driven, goal-oriented, and flexible. Do not delay your application, as we will interview candidates on a rolling basis. Other Information You will need to bring a passport/national ID and, if applicable, proof of residence permit if you have citizenship outside the EU/EES to your interview.
