We are now seeking an engaged and confident teacher for our adapted primary school. Sjöbo Municipality's adapted primary school is located at Emanuelskolan in Sjöbo. The adapted primary school shall be a safe and developmental workplace where students' individual circumstances, needs, and strengths are at the center. We work to ensure that each student has the opportunity to develop as far as possible, both academically, socially, and in their independence. For us, relationships, safety, and clarity are important parts of the educational work. In our operations, you will meet students with different experiences, abilities, and support needs. This means that the work is varied and we constantly need to be curious, flexible, and prepared to adapt our approach. We use clear structure, visual support, alternative communication methods, and various pedagogical strategies to create a learning environment where all students can participate. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to make a real difference? We are seeking an engaged and confident teacher for our adapted primary school. With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, alongside colleagues who are passionate about teaching, relationships, and development. In adapted primary school, you will meet students with different circumstances, needs, and strengths. This means that no two days are the same and the teacher's ability to see each student and find ways to learning is crucial. Your assignment As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and developing instruction based on students' individual circumstances and needs. You will, among other things: • plan and implement clear, structured, and varied instruction • create good relationships and a safe learning environment • adapt instruction so that each student has the opportunity to succeed and develop • follow students' academic and social development • use observations, documentation, and pedagogical mapping to develop instruction • collaborate closely with colleagues, student services, and guardians • contribute to students developing increased independence and participation • help develop instruction and the operations' shared working methods QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We are looking for someone who: • is a certified teacher, preferably with experience of or education in adapted primary school in one of the subjects social studies, science, physical education, or technology • has great commitment to students who need instruction that is clear, flexible, and creative • is confident in your leadership and can create structure even when situations change • have a talent for building trusting relationships with students • see possibilities and strengths rather than limitations • enjoy collaborating and developing instruction together with others • are curious, solution-focused, and want to continue developing in your profession • It is a merit if you have experience of adapted primary school, special education, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), clarifying pedagogy, or low-arousal management. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: 2026-10-19, end date: 2027-03-01. Work hours: Daytime.
