Description At Färjestadsskolan, we are now looking for a teacher for grades 1-3 who wants to play an important role in our students' development and who has the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. Färjestadsskolan is a school with approximately 600 students from preschool through grade 6. The school is located in a multicultural area with excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and proximity to the forest. The school has 9 after-school programs for both younger and older students. Job Responsibilities As a teacher in grades 1-3, you work with the school's youngest children where you, together with after-school program teachers, foster curiosity and lay the foundation for the school's most important subjects. You develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and circumstances. You plan instruction by developing goals, selecting methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with students and colleagues, you evaluate instruction to continually strive to improve teaching, student learning, and your own professional development. Qualifications We are looking for someone with teacher certification for grades 1-3. As a person, we see that you are creative and take initiative. You have a strong ability to communicate and build relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians alike, and you adapt your message to your audience.
